Summer Schools

Summer Schools are devoted to research themes of broad interests and aim to open new avenues for further collaborations between participants as well will pave the way for the establishment of new independent research lines to be carried out by early stage researchers:

  • 2024 | "Channels and their implication in epilepsy and other neurological diseases" in Rome
January 2024 (Dates & Programe to be announced)

PAST EVENTS:

  • 2022 | "Optogenetics and Chemigenetics in epilepsy research" in Lund

20-24 June 2022
Summer School Programme

. . .
  • 2021 - "Trends & challenges in epilepsy research"

In this Summer School we had the chance to bring together outstanding scientists, clinical experts and early stage researchers to debate the state of art and current challenges in epilepsy(ies) treatment and research.

This Summer School was held as an hybrid event both online and in-person in Portugal, surrounded by the beautiful Autumn sun, waves and beaches of Costa da Caparica. This allowed us to discuss science and build bridges to boost research in epilepsies in an outstanding and relaxing environment.

It was so good to be back to in-person meetings.
Stay tunned for future events like this one!

A special acknowledgement to all the participants and, particularly, to our Speakers:
